As you know my name is Sophia, I work as a freelance Videographer/ Photographer with over 15 years of experience and a enrolled member of FMYN. I am a graduate from film school with my A.A. Degree in digital video production. I also pursued my B.A. Degree in Film and Television Broadcasting.
Early in my career I began working side jobs involving video production. Those jobs taught me how to communicate with customers, project management, meeting fast deadlines, attention to details, coordinating video production process start to finish, visualizing ideas and problem solving. The first time I started working as a Photographer/Assistant was for the owner of a Fashion Designer store in New York City. I truly enjoyed that career job I worked with cameras & lighting. To help with marketing and promoting fashion designer clothes and jewelry. Along with creating strategies for advertisements. As her assistant she taught me how to manage a business. I then moved on to work for a sound stage studio.
In 2013 I decided to begin making learning material in our Yavapai Native American mater to help learning and teaching Yavapai in a fun way and to be a influencer and make a difference with our lndigenous language. Since then I have dedicated my life to learning our language Creating learning material, Books and Videos in Indigenous languages to help people learn Indigenous languages.
